Our hostess and head chef, Daire, who has studied various culinary cultures around the world and furthered her skills at an Italian cooking school, will take you on a private gastronomic journey through diverse food traditions.

We explore cuisines from around the world:

France – elegant flavors with the charm of simplicity, such as seafood bouillabaisse and creamy crème brûlée…

• India – aromatic and flavor-packed dishes like spicy butter chicken, delightful palak paneer, and India’s signature rich sauces, all prepared from scratch..

• Mexico – warm, spicy, and zesty flavors, such as handmade tortillas filled with roasted beef and spicy tomatillo salsa.

• Italy – tradition, technique, and heartfelt cooking: shape tortellini served in a creamy Parmesan sauce, learn to make authentic risotto, master the art of layering lasagna, and discover the secrets to a perfect, classic tiramisu.

• Greece – the warmth of the Mediterranean inspires classic moussaka, crispy spanakopita, and other delightful flavors that transport you straight to a sun-soaked island.

• Japan – clean and balanced flavors: delicate miso salmon, shaping onigiri, fermenting salads, and minimalist techniques of Japanese cuisine.

During the group cooking evening, you will discover both professional techniques and small home tips that make cooking special. The prepared dishes are a delight to enjoy at the long table on our sunny veranda, and we assist in pairing them with suitable beverages.

It’s an evening that brings your team together, fills the kitchen with joy, and creates the feeling of a mini culinary journey—all without leaving Haapsalu.

  • Professional kitchen and guidance: Private group cooking session lasting 2–3 hours, for 12–15 participants.
  • Dinner on the beautiful veranda: Enjoy the meal you prepared with up to 20 guests.
  • Drinks from the OHH bar: paired with your menu, offering a wide selection from the OHH bar.
  • Guidance in Estonian or English: We offer professional instruction in both Estonian and English.
  • 10 unique hotel rooms for up to 20 guests: Each room in our hotel is distinctive, taking you on a journey through different cultures and traditions. Our hotel offers 10 double rooms, seven of which can be arranged with separate beds, and three with a large double bed.
